Software Engineer - Drupal

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Drupal Software Engineer to join our team! This position will be focused on developing websites and web applications, including custom module and theme development. This Software Engineer will be joining a professional services team which values collaboration and communication, pays attention to detail, and has a consultative mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Drupal framework for development of custom web applications and sites
• Upgrade legacy sites and applications to a supported version of Drupal
• Provide Tier 1 through 3 support as directed per post-implementation agreements
• Provide site and hosting maintenance autonomously, or through collaboration with DevOps team, by troubleshooting and debugging problems
• Implement unit and/or behavior testing as part of development process
• Implement site design through collaboration with UI/UX staff or business analysts and utilization of Figma or other wireframing/mockup tool
• Design user interfaces using responsive design
• Implement APIs
• Responsible for the deployment of new product releases
• Work with the team to translate business and product requirements into estimates and detailed technical specifications, architectures, and extensible code
• Complete assigned stories, bugs and tasks within the committed timeframe analyzed with technical leads and/or business analysts each sprint
• Present internal end-of-sprint or client demos as scheduled.
• Actively participate in sprint retrospectives and planning ceremonies, as well as technical planning meetings or internal collabs
• Be an advocate for best practices, reliable, scalable, and performant code

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional web application development experience with Drupal 7 - 11
• 4+ years of developing PHP applications under LAMP using frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or others
• 3+ years of experience with web-based programming languages such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Experience with deploying to hosting providers such as Pantheon and Acquia or to cloud environments such as AWS
• Experience with GitHub
• Familiarity with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• Ability to analyze, estimate, and clarify requirements with Business Analyst(s)
• Experience with the Agile process and Scrum framework
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical people, therefore, strong written and oral communication skills a must
• Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a larger team

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Remote candidates welcome, but must reside within the United States
